Were can I find info on this JC league. They are playing what they call the JC NW championship game at Olympic stadium in Grays Harbor. I'm getting alot of questions on who and what they are. I thought they were Rec. or Club teams. but they are promoting as legit collage teams. I thought the collage itself was not involved? I have heard kids were told they are collage players and can receive benefits and possibly scholarships for school. Is this true? I would like to get some info so I can answer peoples Questions honestly.

Message from Larry Walker concerning NWCCFL @ Everett CC:
This league has nothing to do with Everett Community College or the NWAACC I would be careful about giving them money. Give me a call if you need any more information.

The website is NWCCFL.com I think. All they are is a minor league football league like the rest of us but they restrict who can play for the teams. You have to be under 25 years old and taking at least 5 credits in your local school.

I think building a relationship with these guys is the way to go. I keep seeing a group of those guys from the Olympia team in the gym and they tell me there is barely any interest from 4 year colleges for them to play.
I think they could be a valuable resource for players. Some might get a chance to play some real College ball but most won't and they are gonna be itching to keep playing.

Work with this leagues leadership and support them. They do have a dynamite idea of using the JC's. This league will grow. More young guys, fans and families will support this JC ball than they will by playing semi pro ball. Semi Pro football has years of selfish bad karma history in the public eyes. Semi Pro football has screwed over so many people and will take years to recover from bad PR if at all. If they were listed on the Dow Jones I'd by some shares. This JC ball is fresh, new and clean so far with the public. The average football following general public relates this brand of football with small college football. This league will have great opportunity for future growth.

There are going to be lots of young guys wanting to play. Build a relationship with a close team and reap the benefits of a steady stream of young blood to add. Once those guys pass the age of 24 they aren't eligible and if no 4 year schools come knocking you could have a young hungry player.

Rumor has it the league has disbanded. No more money. Only the store is left as a website.

I wonder how we can verify if the rumor is true or not. If it is true it could be a boon to some of the teams. With so many teams, particularly in Western Washington, some new blood is needed. A solid group of young hungry players would benefit many of the local teams. I'll email the Coach of the Olympia team to see what he has to say and share my findings here.

maty- is the JC Ball coming back next year?? Not sure Scoop. Joe from the Olympia team indicated they were not folding and told me about the coaches meeting over the weekend. I would try to contact Kory Hill. He is the one who put it together.

The NWCCFL will indeed by back for a third season in 2011. Kory Hill did a fine job of getting this league to the point it is now. His intentions were nothing but honorable. However, there are many other things that needed to change for the NWCCFL to last long-term. The league is in the process of restructuring itself and electing a brand new board of directors. This will not only ensure the long-term sustainability of the league, it will also help the student-athletes in the NWCCFL get better exposure to the scouts of the four-year schools and help them in their path to obtaining college degrees.

if these guys really want to play college football, and are any good at it, they should probably walk on at Notre Dame.

Quick question, If guys arent using real eligibility, and not affiliated with school, why do they limit participatioon to only two years?
