Mark, actually Ken Austin had 35 consecutive wins, verified by AFA National records, and also has 135 wins vs 41 losses in his tenure as coach for the Jets, Saints and Hawks (1990-2004)

Kenny wasn't the head coach for the Saints Steve McDaniels was the head coach.

Richard Harris was the head defensive coach. Kenny owned the Jets and was head coach for ALL Jets victories. Eddie Mac was head coach in 1996, but lost the first 6 games until Kenny came back to win out the season. Kenny was the head coach for the Saints, McDaniel was special team and asst. head coach/asst. offensive coordinator. Kenny was 10-3 with the Saints in 2004 and 15-3 with the Hawks in 2003. Documentation is that I was the GM for both teams as well as for the Jets to verify all wins and his capacity with those teams.

Mark let me break it down even further for you based directly off the NWFL win/ loss records from their website and archives...which you can check for yourself. 1990 2-8 1991 5-6 1992 6-3 1993 12-0 1994 13-1 1995 10-2 1996 7-8 1997 8-3 1999 10-2 2000 16-0 2001 11-2 2002 11-0 2003 15-3 2004 10-3 That totals 135-41

"Wins"? How should forfeits be counted? www.nwfootball.net/scheduleAll forfeits are indicated by "(f)". For example, from 8/19/2006 Saints 35 @ Raiders 0 (f)

I was at the meeting and played on that 2004 saints team when they announced this staff in this order.... www.nwfootball.net/saints/staff/ I remember Kenny Austin being the Director of football Operations not the Head Coach Kenny was the headcoach on the field but not on paper. Steve was the head coach in 2004 I remember clearly. Kenny Austin did all the work and the coaching but on paper he was the director of football operations. He shouldn't get head coach stats if he wasn't the head coach.

Mark there were NO forfeits for any games that Kenny was coach. Steve McDaniel only held practices in Silverdale during the week for the players that lived there. The majority of the players came from this side of the water and Kenny held practices over here at Tyee H.S. McDaniel never called a game for the Saints in 2004. Les called plays when we were up by more than 20 pts. The website that bipolar Larry was referring to was for sponsors only to see to attract money into the team so that Mike didnt have to come up with all the $. Ask Purser who called the games, ask Keith Jones, ask Jacoba........Kenny was THE coach of the Saints period. Moody is just butt hurt because Moreno basically took his job.

No where does it state McDaniel as Head coach. Both articles were written with McDaniel doing the talking as he was from that side of the water and talked with the reporters as Kenny left immediately after the games to go back home to Covington. It also states that Kenny helped coach the Saints as McDaniel as stated earlier was an assistant on the field only as Kenny called the offense and Cherokee/Merle called the defense. The game played against the Chiefs in 1996 the Jets won because the game was called at half time as their was a death by one of our staffs fathers in the stands from an apparent heart attack. The game in 1991 against the Panthers, they quit at half time. The only real forfeit was the Hawks against the Fury
