would it really be that much of a shock? The Cobras haven't played a game since May 19....the Palouse Thunder are on the shelf for the season and unlikely to bring a team from Idaho over on June 23. The Washington Wolfpack folded before the season started so that axes the July 7 game on the schedule, and the Nor Cal (Lawmen/Alameda) Knights are in the middle of a title hunt with a probable game against the Pacifica Islanders a shot at a "National Championship" bowl game....so why would they waste the money to come to Tacoma on the 14th of July for a meaningless game against a team that got shut out by the Islanders and wouldn't have played a game in 2 months?

if they did shut it down keith may not come on to say anything. he did say awhile back after seeing life from the non-player side of things that he was potentially "done" with the crap. who knows, maybe he has joined a larger group of guys who's eyes opened up a little wider to see exactly what others have been saying all along.

Cobras put together a good team and did alot of good off field stuff. But one thing I've learned is that you cant control other teams. Your judged not only by your team but by the ones you associate your self with. Thats why you need a good league to stand by you. They tried to stand alone and separate them selves and in the end that's were they're at alone.

Like I said, I have a job to do, and I will FINISH it. We play the Thunder on the 23rd, the Knights are still in, and we have the Islanders again. 3 more...

And Chris, NOT alone. Supposedly there are 5 PDFL teams over here on the west ready for 2013 and 5 on the east.

Eugene is going to be hard pressed to make a viable team, and the California team ironically has the same name and logo as the Salt Lake City Crush that failed?? "Supposedly" is what bugs everyone when dealing with this stuff. They either exist or they don't.

Like I said, I am fulfilling my obligation, THIS year, something the Mavs don't do. Lol. But we have lots on our plate for the end of THIS season. That's all I'm worried about. And we have NEVER folded, finished EVERY season so far on a positive note.

Well I hope it works out sounds like a lot of travel. its tough to get a team around the NW, national schedule sounds great except for the one paying for the travel. That's why we got out of the NAFL. You guys should quit trying to reinvent the wheel and join the UFL. The cost to join has to be less then you'll put up to start a new national league

UFL? LOL, we just got ran off the field by the Islanders! We couldn't compete there NOW, but having the UFL salary you can enforce practice participation a lot easier.

It just seems like you are trying to turn a fiero into a Ferrari. if pro and a step above semi-pro is what you want then UFL makes sense. they play in the fall and you would have access to all NW minor leagues and collage athletes. if development is what your after then that can be done in the PFL or WWFA. If I had the cash and resources that's what I'd do. And I would hire you as a recruiter

And we have NEVER folded, finished EVERY season so far on a positive note. it's the same old song and dance. i don't doubt keith will do his best to uphold his end of the bargain, but once again, the shadow warriors are at work with their smoke and mirrors talking about "this many teams" and "that many teams" but giving no specifics about who the teams are, do they even exist yet or are they like the Bend Mountaineers...an internet team that never formed? We will hear all off season about how great the teams are and this will be the best league in the country. But, by kickoff it will be back to begging "semi pro" teams to schedule the Cobras, talking noise about who is scared to play the Cobras...yadda yadda yadda. And, when all is said and done, it will be the same team that does well at home, but when it comes to hopping on a bus or carpooling 4 hours or more, 20 players will show up.
