Longhorns ARE BITCHES!!!
How do you feel about forfeits???
They hurt the team hosting a game more than the team taking the loss!!!
Should teams be forced out of a league if they forfeit or should they not have to be punished at all!!!

You know we got our ass handed to us last year but we made it happen and that is why we are 35+ strong this year shit happens teams need to suck it up and play the games you promised. It makes everyone look bad when you forfeit the second game of the season it is pathetic. Time to man up. Wildcats will be in action tomorrow vs. the Bulldogs if anyone is interested in seeing what we got. Daunte I hope your prediction isn't based off last year cause these guys are new maybe if you guys don't play you can come check us out. Lummi High School 5pm.

Daunte, you have every right to be furious. A hole in the entire league schedule is a blackmark for the league. You're doing everything you can to promote your team and build a positive image in the community and then some yahoo undermines all your work and there's not much you can do about it.
You can take a positive outlook - your team won and you didn't drop a single pass, or, you can take a negative outlook - your team won but you didn't get a single catch. ;D
This is one problem with unbridled expansion. There are a lot of owner-wannabes out there and only a very few who can actually make it work.
Do new teams in the NAFL have to pay a performance deposit to cover costs if they bail?

a forfeit on our first ever home game with 3k plus fans expected and sponcer waiting to write a check if we do well not only the $$$ that went into this game. the gate fees that were to pay the rest of our bills. But most of all the loss of respect from fans and loss of fan base. this make us all look bad.

They do not get their $1200 back. That's a donation you might say to the league. Thanks! ;D

Thanks! ;D What about the Bearcats? Will they be compensated at all. In all seriousness, this is exactly why the NWFL leadership was so hostile to new owners. Compared to the intense questioning and at the league meeting, fielding a team was easy.

john I don't know if there is any legal action that can be done, this is a business that is very expensive to run. Your right holding new teams to a standard was done well in the NWFL. But it was the lack of that same standard being held for teams once they were in. but mostly the lack of a National championship game. When we pulled out of the NAFL or any championship terny. sponsors don't give money to just an adult league. there has to be something to play for.
