Go to the gnfafootball.org/ site and they have a break down of the leagues. Not sure how accurate they are but they're there. DId the PNW Wildcats go to the WFL or is that a different team?

I'm curious to know why the remaining NWFL don't jump and find a home in one of the other leagues. 3 teams seems very pointless.

I'm curious to know why the remaining NWFL don't jump and find a home in one of the other leagues. 3 teams seems very pointless. The Ron Baines Bengals aren't budgen. The Cav's are an Independent team and I'm not sure if the T-Bolt will have a team this season. The Wildcats and this little known Panthers(?) team may well be independent as well. You will see these 5 teams play each other because they need games. The AA WWFA will have Invaders, Ravens, Eagles and Thunder but the Outlaws and Wolfpack are new and may not make it. I thought the Terminators got disrespected last season. They aren't dumb to join the WWFA in 2011? I don't see them joining the WWFA. Would you? You will see these teams play the NWFL group mentioned above for games. I see lots of forfeiting games with all these teams next season. The WWFA and NWFL group should join together. They will be playing each other anyway. East of the Mountains only have 5 teams. I guess they weren't ready for prime time yet by not joining the PFL. It might be for the better because they would all have losing records. Should be an interesting season to follow.

Why do u think the teams east of the mnts would have losing records . Hermiston-champs , Wenatchee almost beat the monarchs and were up at halftime and Spokane is very competetive . Maybe u never seen them play. Yes palouse and Moses lake would more than likley have a losing record. and as for the one team east of the mnts that did step up , I doubt they have a losing record . Just my thoughts .

The east side has very competitive teams that's why we tried to recruit them into the PFL. I'm glad to see the mavs and shockers decided to come over. I've played the mavs twice and they are worthy to play in the PFL. Hopefully the PFL lives up to everyone's standards and some more east side teams come in.

Just my thoughts . The reason I say this is because these Central/Eastern WA teams had an opportunity to step up and didn't. I'm not sure what the owners were afraid of because from my observations the teams east of the cascades have been involved with a shady EFL Commissioner taking their money and doing nothing and a guy by the name of Chuck Love from what I understand was a swindler in the past, so again what are these owners afraid of. Getting duped? They participated in the GNFA last season and played the Monarchs, Shockers and Mavericks so what's the problem? The only thing left to believe is that these teams must be unorganized and will forfeit some games, fearful of losing or someone is on a power trip keeping his teams away. If not then these WFL teams, would have defiantly jumped in, put their rubber on the road and would have proved it. My only conclusion is that these east cascade teams not in the PFL are not ready for Prime Time. Thats cool keep practicing and maybe when these team mature they will step up...... Oh and I can't see these WFL teams play when they are hiding hours away from the public. The semi pro lets wait an see defense. As if the league their in is better. ;D

Oh and I'm independent. I'm not a paid hack for the PFL/NFL. I have my disagreements with Mark, and that Monarch's coach but I can say that the Monarch's and Shockers did the right thing coming together and joining the PFL for the betterment of all Semi Pro. NW Semi Pro football was really sucking with all these watered down leagues all with champs that wouldn't play each other and they played at various times. You even had a Stallions team that played no one good and claimed to be the best. My God that was just a stupid and boring era for semi pro. Glad that's coming to a close. Now we know the difference from AAA and AA. Besides my football enjoyment will be enhanced knowing there are some teams to root for and some to Boo.

I like this topic. I continue. I'm getting older and more pickie on what forms of entertainment I will spend my time and money on. I don't and will not watch crap. I have even left the Seahawks game last season when they played like crap against Tampa Bay and this season I almost left when the Giants schooled the Hawks but I only stayed because my sons and a sons friend wanted to stay. I won't go to any games I know will be a blowouts or watch two crap teams go at it. Why spend the time and money. I will only watch college football on TV if its top 20 teams going at it against each other.
I'm excited that the Kent Predators have a team so close. The Preds will be good this season and a team worth watching. I will come to watch some PFL top games if played local and will not watch the PDFL, NWFL or WWFA because they are not there yet. Some teams like the Cobras might be good but they are in a spread out 4 team league that has no media and are secret to the public. The Stallions soured my wanting to view any teams in the WWFA league. They were a stacked team in a JV league. Whoopie!
I guess the nice thing is that the WWFA, NWFL and WFL can be incubators leagues until teams want to move up to the PFL/NAFL.

The biggest reason the WFL teams did not join the PFL was because they did not want to play later into the year. They were afraid that they would lose players because of summer and not be able to finish the season. It is a valid point and one that I am concerned about as well. But for us the pros out weighted the cons. The WFL will continue with 6 teams and will play true spring ball starting in late March and ending in early June.
