After watching a couple games and championship, looks to me like the Bulldogs WRs were robbed with all league awards. Retarded votes out there... just sayin

Yea sir,
Toby not being on the list is a huge error. No offense to anyone else, but I didn't see a Better Wr than him this season- although i did only play the last 4 games of reg season and 2 of 3 playoff games. Doug Miller is also a very, very, very good receiver, better than most that showed up for the All star game as well. For once Grey Beard, I agree with you. Lol.

I always love these posts. Maybe this will help clear stuff up for some of you. I don't know if these rules affected any of the Bulldog wr.
1 - there is a games played requirement for eligibility
2 - any player kick out of a game is not eligible.
3 - each team is responsible for nominating their own players.
4 - Bulldogs did not post any stats for two games.
5 - all-league awards are for REGULAR SEASON ONLY. What a player does in the playoffs has no effect as the ballots are already voted on by the first round of the playoffs.
6 - There is a different selection process for all - league than for all - star game.

All-League selections have always been interesting, especially in the computer age where message board warriors can be rewarded as "All-League" because of their popularity and constant reminder to everyone of how great they are and not necessarily their accomplishments on the field. You also have the problem of the team that nominates it's players and the teams that don't give a damn about their players. One reason the GNFA All-Region selections were awarded after all games were complete, was in an effort to treat the entire season as a complete body of work. Great athletes show up when it counts. (How many times have we seen a Heisman Trophy winner out shined by the other candidates in big Bowl Games after the season ended?...I think back to Eddie George winning only to see Tommie Frazier demolish the Florida Gators in the National Championship and people asking themselves "why wasn't he the Heisman winner?")
Unfortunately, since no team owners/coaches participated this year with GNFA requests for information, there will be only 2 awards given out this year and no All-Region selections. Hopefully 2014 will be better.
Good luck to all of the PFL players this off-season.

I can understand where your coming from but jordan from the yak led the league in yards and the stallions receiver led in tds. Both had great overall stats. They won the award, and were in the same division. I seen both receivers become a non factor in a game. Not saying they aren't good cause we've all seen them ball. But they didn't earn the award this year.

Don't worry Gavigan and Doug, I could care less about a little plaque with my name on it. I got what I wanted this year. A championship. Because that's what I do. I play in championship games. So all these little bums can play in their little all-star game and touch plaques together while their teams are setting up to start at the 20 yard line... because there is no kickoff. Then after the game they can use their plaques as a booster seat to watch a real football game. I play in championship games.
2007- Whatcom County Raiders~ CFL Champions 2008- Whatcom County Raiders~ CFL Champions/West Football Alliance bowl game champions 2009- Bellingham Blitz~ PDFL lost in championship 2010- Bellingham Blitz~ PDFL lost in Championship/ Bellingham Bulldogs~ League Champs, Lost National Title 2011- Bellingham Blitz~ WWFA Champions 2012- Bellingham Bulldogs~ Lost in PFL Championship 2013- Bellingham Bulldogs~ PFL Champions
Gavi, Doug, he's right, we haven't earned a plaque this year... We've earned a championship. AHHHH... and it feels good. I guess that I'll use my plaque from last year to display all 5 of my rings. HAM

Lol! Bahahahahahah.
Man o' man. Good post! Lol.
How bout this:
2008: 11&1 NW champs 2009: 12&1 West Champs 2010:13&1 NAFL AFC Champs (undefeated in the NW for 3 straight years) 2012: 12&2 PFL North Champs 2013: 13&2 PFL Champs.
I will hang my hat on those seasons. People will always hate Tobes. :-)
Ps. Graves: Toby had 4 games with 3tds, and many more games with 2tds, he only has stats for 7games on the PFL site and I'm sure if all his stats were kept, he probably would have led in yards and TDs again- just an fyi since you brought it up.
Our team did not keep stats for some games- yes that's lame and is our teams' error. Ah well. Maybe next season.

Can you blame our coaches for not putting up stats... With the 3 of us out there, they cant keep up. They might as well just log in "infinity" for us.

Yeah, I told myself that I wasn't going to talk too much this year on these message boards. But when a dude gets on here and talks about what me and my teammates have or haven't earned... I get a little fired up. Especially because I didn't know who he was. So I had to waste my time looking him up, only to find that he was a 6'0'' 240lb DB, who definitely didn't see the field when I was playing. And he's going to say that he's seen me be a non-factor in a game? I don't even need the ball thrown in my direction for me to be a factor. He can ask his teammate Jeremy Frank about that... for our game winning TD. (All respect JF) I don't even have to be on the field for me to be a factor... Throw the #83 on a scrub and let him stand out there... I am still a factor. And the same goes for Doug and Nick. HAM
