The Islanders are a pro team. Just like the Oklahoma Thunder. this "pro" label is used so loosely. the thunder are unique because of the kick backs they get from the NBA franchise in Okie City, so maybe they are paying their guys something, but I most of the cash is going to staff and operations. The Islanders are athletically no different than the monarchs or stallions. the have some studs, they have some schlubs. The Rattlers who beat them in the NCFL are no pro team...on par with Yakima. they play a GDFL schedule this year that is made up of 4 teams including the Nevada Dream which forfeited to the Buzzards. 3 of the dreams last 4 games have been forfeits (sound familiar?) Difference is, the Islanders don't call themselves "Pro" and are a registered Non-Profit organization (501c3). They became the Islanders after the bad press related to Dog the Bounty Hunter when he arrested a fugitive that was playing for the Daly City Renegades and was being (allegedly) harbored by the owner of the team. They played as the Bay Ticket 49ers briefly before landing in Pacifica. Saying they are pro, is like comparing the players of the Kent Predators to the Seattle Seahawks...huge difference.

People always put the Stallions in the top 5. Not sure why? They never play any team that could give them a challenge. They are like a Ford Taurus racing against Golf Carts. They will never race against a Ford Mustang. The Monarchs have this goofy college wall around them but at least they will be challenged in the PFL playoffs.

Not saying the cobras didn't have this coming with some of the talk they have done in the past, but don't act like they wouldn't be a top team in the PFL. Just my opionin but any of the top 4 teams in the PFL can beat one another. The cobras would be a top 4 team for sure. Sometimes you don't bring your A game and you cant do that agains't a team like the Islanders.

A lot of people said that about the Monarchs for years. But we've played against the OFL now PFL teams and I can say they are all very quality teams. An I can say first hand the Monarchs aren't soft. Doc always puts together a tough team and would compete well in the PFL. Putting them in the top 5-6 is reasonable. strength of schedule will definitely keep them out of that #1 spot but maybe a post season game or nw bowl series can put that to rest. would be nice to see PFL north vs PFL south, WWFA vs WFA then the two winners facing off. I wouldn't count the Rams out either.

As for the Cobras they took on a good team sometimes you get beat. that's why we play the game. We lost a game this year too, but we bounced back and kept fighting week in and week out. Nothing humbles a team more then getting your butt kicked. but true teams and good programs adjust and come back stronger. That's were you see the true colors of a team. those teams with weekend worriers or individual athletes will normally fall apart after a few losses.

The Jags were the first team to win a NW Championship against the Blue MT Stars in 07. Weren't ducking anyone. The Blitz, Shockers and Stallions got cold feet before. They didn't want to play those guys. They knew they could not beat them thats why the backed out. Besides ho cares about the Jags anyway. This is 2012.

the jags didnt play the blue mt stars. you played a team using the name, but it wasn't even close to the stars that played its final game 87 days earlier that year AND you made them travel to you, the same tactic the Cobras tried 2 years ago when challenging teams...they had to come to them. and you bitched up against the shockers (I can post the email you sent). and wouldnt take on an "early" preseason game but then went ahead and booked a game with the weak ass Lakewood Wolves a week after the date the shockers offered your jaguars a game. quit trying to revise history you hypocrite. and last I checked, the blitz weren't around when you were involved dumb ass. you are the pot calling the kettle black. the shockers offered you a game while you were in your "preseason" and you didn't want none, but you were more than happy to make a team wait 3 months to play you and then want to beat your chest like you accomplished something in some weak ass fake championship tournament the MLFA was running. The Shockers would have put a foot in the Jaguars ass as would have the REAL blue mountain stars in '07.

proud must be Mark. His recall of history is so off. To bad for him because his shockers are on the scrap heap not winning anything of importance. Never will. The Blitz were the Raiders and they first backed out. This Blue MT Stars team beat the scrubby shockers. The Stars team had talent. This team brought 30 guys to play the Jags in Bonny Lake. Bonney Lake is far away from Seattle/Everett where most of the players lived. So they traveled far in city traffic. The Shockers leadership was the same two hater guys that called Coach Scott the year before a racial name and it pissed Jeff off real bad. He challenged the Shockers to a game and the Shockers BACKED OFF!!! True Fact. The Next season the Jags didn't want to play these culture haters. Besides if the Shockers would have beat the Stars they would have backed out of the MLFA crown game. But they sucked and lost. Cluck Cluck! I don't care about semi pro until they get their shit together. I'm really enjoying Baseball. A much better minor league sport.

And I'm not aware of this racial issue you are talking about and Jeff Scott never spoke to me about it and I was the GM at the time. And no I think what the shockers have become is an embarrassment to what we built. And since you're alzheimers is starting in, We offered the mighty Jaguars 2 dates...April 28 and May 5 to play us...you bitched up and said it was too early and then turned around and booked the Lakewood Wolves for May 5. Pussies! So, we scheduled the Renton Ravens and West Sound Saints. The Jaguars beat the Ravens 19-12, the Shockers beat the Ravens 61-6 with a running clock in the 4th quarter. FACTS. Beat a 70-man Saints team on their turf helping their implosion and eventual end. The Stars season ended on June 30 in the GNFA championship. The Jaguars played a team called the Stars on Sept 29....do the math and ask how many Rams, Mavericks and other players were picked up just to play in that so-called championship game?? HAHAHA! You are still a douche Rob trying to revise history and what pisses you off is I won't allow it. We challenged every team in Western Washington to a game including the Stallions (who didn't want to play outside of the NWFL) but we weren't stupid enough to try and keep a team focused for 3 months waiting on you. Your team was practicing and willing to play the Wolves but you weren't willing to play the Shockers. Own it, accept it and move on. oh one last thing....you're right we wouldn't have played in the MLFA game. We weren't a member nor wanted to be a member of that joke tournament.

i played in that game against the jags with the stars . we traveled with around 25 guys and less than hlaf of the real starters . for goods sake all world qb brett jay wasnt even there . neither was ronam odonald . the real stars would have stomped the jags . so would have the 05 mavs . instead we too were asked to play the jags at their house a month after our season was over and with half our guys . they olny managed 31 point 7 of which they scored on the last second of the 4th qt .

Brett Jay was surgical against us in that game. We got away from our power run game, and the Oroscos did a damn good job of holding Triplett and Enciso and not getting flagged!

Oh you knew about the N word you and your coach sent an e-mail to Jeff Scott. We kept it for a long time. Never mentioned it. The Stars coach was a real good guy. We thanked the Stars for having the balls to come play. The Jags didn't have everyone show up and play also. Bonney Lake was agreed upon because it was closer than having the game in Seattle. Kent was not available. The Jags staff did all the work getting this game together and did all the work during the game and paid for everything. The Stars had it easy. It takes money to do this Norm, Lorrie and I came out of pocket to support semi pro football and we are proud we helped these young men play this game with meaning. They will always remember this. Congrats to you players involved.
Mark you are still full of hate. Semi Pro will never, repeat never evolve with people like you involved. The GNFA is a joke.
