Cobra7, your team we played in May, in my opinion is by far the most talented team around. Granted your team is a pro team, but I've seen enough football to distinguish a difference in team talent. Now, I'm not sure how your team would fare now that there have been some defections, some of which are playing for the Outlaws, who beat us at home 28 - 26, but if you were able to put the team together we faced in May, in my opinion, no team I've seen this year could beat you.

Again I agree, we've lost a lot of fire power from our defense. I believe we may have 4 or 5 starters from that game left, offense is still in tact but a lot of the guys filling in for those guys that left would probably be starters on half of the teams out there. Definitely a different team tho and that team from May was stacked, but the guys we still have are as talented as they get.

Every league has great teams, good teams, average teams and bad teams. So, blowouts are inevitable, especially when great meets bad. Just like in the WWFA...
Blitz just beat the Ravens 70-0 Blitz beat the Xtreme 69-0 Ravens beat Xtreme 76-20 Wolfpack beat Xtreme 52-2 Eagles beat Xtreme 30-0 Eagles were shut out three straight times invaders beat outlaws 34-6 Ravens beat outlaws 40-7 Invaders beat Thunder 34-6
Finally, the 4-1 WWFA Ravens lost to the 1-7 PFL Bulldogs by a score of 44-28.

I've looked at the roster and if that is accurate and complete I see a quite a few of the same old names recycled from other teams (Ravens, Stallions, Colts, Warriors, Hurricanes, Bengals, etc). What makes this team any different than the previous incarnations of talent accumulations like the Jets, Hawks, Jags? I don't see it. Even those teams traveled with decent numbers and I know Keith will put his blinders on and proclaim "hater" as loud as he can, but who have the Cobras played? A Ravens team that was getting blasted early and again last week, A Shine team that is low on numbers and still coming together in the early going, a Boise team that lost to 4 semi pro teams including a close one with Umatilla who they seemed evenly matched with...so beating Boise and Umatilla back to back should have been expected right? 14-7 puts them on par with each other right? I know the Cobras are trying to get a game with the Bengals, why don't you guys saddle up and go play in California? You wanted 2 Cali teams to come up here, why not show them you are serious and go there? Call me a hater, but I just see the Cobras as another version of the Seattle Stallions. Awwwwwwwwww snap-diggity. ;D Can't wait to read the response to this. Then again, we already know the answer. They mobbed 20 to Boise. LOL How many do you think would make the trip to California to get pasted? i wish the Monarchs would play the Cobras just to shut them up. Judging by the rosters, scores and travel prowess, that game wouldn't be close. In fact, I'd bet right now, that if the Monarchs weren't three hours away the Cobras would be all over their roster trying to recruit guys to replace some of their own.

We all want to say how great and dominant our teams are, but in the world of semi pro your only as good as you travel so if your team beats another in their own house then that's priceless. Monarchs / Cobras / Blitz / Bears and whoever else are guaranteed very difficult to beat at home. So if you want to be the best kick the shit of a team on their home field with your own players and not one's you pick just for that particular game! Same goes for the team hosting the game, you can't say shit about beating anyone if you have to borrow players to do it.

I'd take the 20 guys that traveled the last 2 weeks against any FULL squad in any of these leagues and win, it only takes 11 and those 20 are more talented than any other 20 I've seen so far. As for those past teams mentioned (jags, hawks, jets) I don't know anything about nor do I care to, all I know is right now no team in the PFL WWFA NWFL or whatever other northwest leagues around here can beat us. We've traveled 5 and 8 hour trips one way in back 2 back weeks with guys playing numerous positions that are talented enough to do so not to mention that we haven't even practiced in at least a month or the week before we were suppose to play the bullshit salt lake crush and still went out there and handled business convincingly.

We are in constant talks with the Northern Cali teams. Don't worry about us. We ain't "BEGGING" for games. I am just asking for the chance to PROVE there is no better team in the NW. That's all. The Shine and Ravens showed HUGE balls by playing us. Meadows. I was on the Stallions. The only thing they have in common is black ownership. Same as the Jets you constantly hate on. Something stinks here. #justsayin

Bernard, I concur! I would also take the team of 20 or so that has travelled these past couple weeks over any team up here. NO TEAM up here can take 20 guys from their team and travel 5plus hours back to back weeks and soundly win both times. REAL TALK.

Whatever I say on here I would say right to your face. When I see you again, we can continue this conversation. But sorry if other people refer to me as a legend. And the retirement party was off the hook. You mad cuz you weren't invited? Lol

Mark, I never disagree with you, that's the problem! I just defend us when you hate on us. You don't see that though.

Keepitreal, there is nothing more I would like than to have a chance at the Monarchs. That would be the best game possible in the Northwest. I don't see it hapening cuz the PFL teams won't play us. Keep in mind key members from the Monarchs have expressed interest in being a Cobra and would have been a welcome addition.

At the end of the day, without any of the other semi-pro teams or so-called, "pro teams" there would be no Cobras, no Blitz, no Vikings, nothing. So when it comes to thumping your chest claiming to be the best and blah blah blah, it's talk going into thin air. You had a chance to join a more powerful league. Whether it be the WWFA or PFL, each league has 10+ teams in it and have their seasons rolling.
Oh, and one more thing, I guarantee that if you were to go talk about yourself as a "legend" of semi-pro to those outside of the confines of the semi-pro world, you'd be looked at funny because 99% of the people out there don't know what the hell semi-pro is and if they do, they don't care much about it.
At the end of the day, we've all contributed something to this thing called "semi-pro". Don't discredit others who have been playing for years and years and years.

Cobra7 you must of misunderstood me when I said beat teams with your own players. Teams have in my experience have picked up numerous players for big games. I know you guys play with what you have and it was a general statement to all. Though I do congratulate you on your two long road trip victories the fact is the quality you played wasn't near those of the Monarchs / Bears / Blitz / Renegade teams. So claiming you would handle those teams at home is strictly your opinion but in reality unlikely. You definitely would be competitive but realistically 20 guys playing iron man football aren't going to beat full squads at home that are quality teams. Sorry.
