Fan 1, yes the North would be stronger with combining and don't sleep on the Renegades. Their legit. Plus I don't know about the Monarchs being Kings of Semi Pro when we haven't won nothing. Dominant in the Northwest don't mean squat if we get our ass handled against other teams from different states.....

Keep 2 leagues and have crossover games, DONT BE SCARED... Why are the Cobras scared to compete on a level playing field with local teams? Why did the Cobras set themselves up in a football netherland? Too poor or scared to play IFL with other pro teams, too scared to play amateur football with semi-pro teams. You should have jumped ship to the Monarchs after last season to preserve your perfect record for jumping from top team to top team.

Too many leagues. I'm looking forward to see who comes out on top of the pfl . It's really up for grabs.

Lot's of predictions. Its good to see this discussion. Thank you. Clearly we have non owners here putting in their two cents worth. Ever rented a bus and driver? You would not need a bus or vans if you played Puget Sound 8 man. Travel costs would be reduced. With inflation and travel costs were talking huge savings over time. Again if the WWFA went to 8 men then your saying no one would play football. LOL! Its good to see just a hand full of guys from all over the NW speak for the Puget Sound area. 8 man may not work for example in the greater Salem area because...URCH.... Ummmm..... wait a second they have a Nine Man League there. Do guys play there? Yes some teams have 40 players some teams have more. But you still need an inventory of 60 Helmets, Pads and Uniforms for 11 man football. Because of wear and tare replacement Uniforms happen more often and when equipment is broke or stolen. Expensive. If you had an inventory of 30 that's less costly and twice as easy to keep and inventory of because your roster is smaller. You can negotiate with the head officiating associations and strike a bargain deal if you have double headers or triple header games because the refs will not have to travel all over the area to work more than one game. All games in one location. Jr Football has 5 to 6 games all day long on Saturday and Sunday. All in one location. Do you really believe they pay full price for refs at every single game? NO! Oh and I forgot to mention the Seattle area has Emerald Downs and the Sounders for fans to be drawn too. Good point America. Currently the WWFA averages what 50 people in the stands playing 11-man ball? If they continue to keep their 50 fans while playing 8 man ball, the WWFA would be doing better financially as a league on the books than the previous season playing 11 man ball.

The WWFA may not have the big name teams that the PFL has but its really comparing apples to oranges. The PFL has almost twice as many teams so just by sheer numbers they will have more better teams. Both teams have some really awful teams at the bottom of the pile and comparing the Ravens and Bulldogs games has to take into account the fact that the Ravens were injured and the Bulldogs were not now the Bulldogs have a ton of injuries and are getting beat badly. Why does it matter our opinions about what league is better than the other this is about giving guys a place to play the great game of football together.

Another way a Puget Sound 8 man league can save money is having 12 minute quarters. Lots more action for these guys. 15 minute quarters would be too much for them. Now you can have double header games and fans can stay for two games without spending 7 hours watching two 60 minute slower 11 man games. The refs will like less time officiating. This may lead officials to charge the league less in bulk. 60 minute games are to long for semi pro anyway. Guys don't come to practice and thus cause more penalties with yellow flags all over the field, refs calling great plays back, slowing the game down even more of a bore. Blow out games are the worst with yellow flags. My God games drag out for 4 hours at times. Not fan friendly. Also play these double header games in the day light hours. This will save the league night game lighting costs.
