You act as if moving to Europe to play football is something EVERYBODY would want to do. I know of several current and former semi-pro players contacted about playing in Europe.
But, dude, it's freaking EUROPE!!! People have families, kids, obligations, real careers. Not everyone is so hungry to call themselves a pseudo pro that they will pack up and run off to Europe to essentially play semi-pro football for chump change.
Let's see....$40,000 job here, wife, kids or girlfriend and family, friends and play semi-pr.
or.
go to Europe for what, room and board and a car and some pocket change to play semi-pro football??
I-AA teams? LOL Come on, man. An average 1-AA team would run through Europe like a hot knife through butter.
And nobody is making it in Canada because of semi-pro film. Have you ever looked at a Canadian roster? Half the players must be Canadian and the Americans are mostly from BCS conferences.
That said, it's not impossible if a very talented players is simply misplaced. Even still, that player is not going to Canada based on Cobras film. He's going there based on his abilities.
So who is this mystery Cobra, anyway? Give a name. Can't find it on that confusing, horribly organized website of yours.
Reveal the name so I can do some research on him and see if you earn credibility or lose what little you have.
And I'm not trying to hate. I'm simply reacting to all the Cobra bullshit I read on here.
Again....
1. you should have the best team if you pay players.
2. Teams in a 16-team league have full schedules. Stop acting like they are obligated to play you.
3. NCAA eligibility is endangered by playing against pro teams. You may not care since you are pro but for the few guys who hope to go to college, it matters. Don't demand those teams jeopardize their principles to play you BECAUSE YOU ARE IN A SHIT LEAGUE WITH NO OPPONNENTS.
4. Last, and certainly not least, don't expect to get games with teams by telling them how great you are and how shitty they are.
