With all this back and forth the only thing I have to say is begging/asking for games against teams and calling them cowards if that don't is probably the reason other teams don't want to play the "monster" cobras. What the team has done and is wanting to do is admirable, it's the poor reflection of how their presented that pushes teams away with any involvement.

The PFL teams have no reason to even play out side the PFL. We all have a full schedule with the same agenda, to win the PFL. Then play for a Spring national championship or contend for a post season Bowl game. Even preseason games could be played against other PFL teams (Boarder Wars). With the teams we have there shouldn't be any gaps in a schedule, No teams will forfeit or fold, the main reason for gaps. As for joining the PFL any team is welcome to apply. We will be very picky on who we let in, Its not about building a super league its more about quality football here in the NW. We have 7 teams in Western Wa., one in Eastern Wa., and 8 in Oregon. We don't need to pick anymore up , but would consider any quality programs. There needs to be more than one league because some teams have different agendas. Cobras and the PDFL are trying something new and hope it does work out. the NW has alway been on a national island even when we were in the NAFL. Its hard to get teams to travel here. Kieth you should talk to the Nashville storm or San Diego thunder both teams travel well, also a new team called the Thoroughbreds I think around Atlanta maybe. Chris White is a part owner in that team and has the cash to travel. Maybe even look and the London silver backs. Need to find teams with deep pockets and motivation to travel.

::)Of course it makes sense to YOU. We have sent several players to several different pro leagues, so we are doing what we are supposed to do. Now, Keep it Real, you keep discrediting the Blitz. The Blitz/Raiders have been blowing teams out around the NW on a regular for a few years now. We are 6-0 against them. When they win the WWFA, there will still be some reason we aint that good. Your right we haven't beat the Cobras and we don't talk Ish about it either. And as the Blitz/Raiders we have sent 4 players to the NFL/UFL, CFL and IFL and several to colleges. We love haters so please keep talking. All your doing is fueling the fire. We aren't the same team from last season. Big turn over and that fire is coming back and that swagger.

Not sure I remember anyone saying something bad about the Blitz. Going to be a good game when you guys play the Shine on June 25th.

Toro, you're clearly not even attempting to comprehend what I'm saying.
1. Nobody doubts you have a good team. You should, you're promising things others aren't.
2. The issue is with your agenda and the logistical reality of your situation. You say screw schedules? Hmm....I believe I've said this before but go look at the schedules for PFL teams. They are booked solid other than this weekend and the July 4 weekend. Should a PFL teams simply forfeit a league game to play you? Again, it makes no sense.
3. You only want to play PFL teams because you have nobody else to play. You're begging from a point of weakness, not strength.
4. Stop bragging about the so-called "monster" you "built." Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, could set up in an area and make a ton of grand promises and get top players from other teams to join their squads.
All the wanna-be-pro semi-pro players are about as gullible as they are ignorant and will follow the lies anywhere if they think it will give them a shot at a pro contract.
You guys have promised money. Promised travel. Promised exposure. Promised getting a look. You failed to deliver on most, if not all of the above and now you're on a forum begging, no, demanding, no, badgering REAL teams in REAL leagues for games.
It's pathetic.
The top PFL teams right now are the Monarchs and Bears (sorry Vipers).
Let's say the Bears took the top 7 players from the Colts, Bearcats and Bulldogs to add 21 players to what they have now.
And the Monarchs took the top 7 players from the Vipers, Raiders and Shine.
Now, You don't think those teams would be the baddest of the bad? Of course they would.
So stop pounding your chest like King Kong. He, like you, climbed to the top. But unlike you, when he fell - and you will fall - he was the innocent victim and mourned.
People will only rejoice when the venom is sucked out of the Cobras and they wither and die.

Yes Keith, stop pursuing semi pro teams and have your pro team Cobra join an already established pro league. Why is Theo creating a league from scratch to play games national? Does he want to be a Commissioner or something? I would come watch Tacoma Cobra games if they had a league to play in. I travel to Tacoma to watch AAA Tacoma Rainiers baseball. Again fans will come but you have to provide them a quality product first. Leave the semi pro teams alone. No one wants to watch the Pro Cobras challenge the Renton Ravens. No Cart before the Horse crap. Go Cobra's!

Im a loyal cat. We took a big hit, but Ill ride til the wheels fall off. I aint a quitter. I personally put this Cobra team together, I havent paid anyone a dime. Whats so shady with the way I, myself, did business? We are in the process of adding games to our schedule, and its looking favorable. How do you know we dont develop our players? Have you been to a practice? Gotta be a lil more than just good players to do what we have been doing. You would think SOME coaching came into play. It takes a special coaching staff to deal with so many good players egos. Like I said, you are going to hate, along with the 3 others, Im going to keep trying to make my squad the best in the NW, and the NATION... Keith "personally" put the Cobras together. Here all along I thought he was a dyed in the womb true-blue Stallion (or bleeds green Jet...no yellow Hawk, er Saint..umm) when the Cobras were being formed by Theo Hall, et al. And I thought it was when Brandon Claxton left for New York the mighty bull got the call to come fill a vacated spot on the line. Who would have thought all along it was the mighty bull who is the patriarch of the Cobras all the while he was instructed by a "higher up" not to talk Cobras/PDFL business on the message board? I'll make sure to change the history page to reflect that the immortal Keith Jones is and was in fact the originator of the Cobras! ;D NOT the originator, but I would say me and Theo were about 50/50 putting both last years, and THIS years teams together, hence the title Director of recruiting. I did my job. There is ALOT of stuff I DONT talk about that goes on in Cobra Nation. I am just the most vocal. So when shit goes wrong, I take the brunt of it on these MBs, which is fine by me. Talking shit about teams, calling them scared? Not me. The only teams I said were scared are the ones we approached about a game. And of course we didnt want anyone to cancel a game to play US, the ones we called scared are the teams who had an open date to play us, and chose not to. We can easily fill our schedule with teams we can beat by 50, Rob, we know people dont want to see us play the Ravens, but they stepped up to the plate, and told us they wanted to play the best. NOW look how they are playing. They wont see another team like us all season. GREAT preparation. And I have been the same FOREVER! I pound my chest cuz I am proud of my squad. I have ALWAYS been that way, ask No One. I was that way as a Jet (Had every right to be. ), as an Inglewood Blackhawk, as a Jaguar, as a Stallion, and now as a Cobra. I ride or die for my teams. There is a reason guys like to play for my teams. Its NOT cuz I promise them shit, cuz I have nothing to promise. I PLAYED with alot of guys. Guys know, you wont find too many teammates like ME. I am very loyal, and I treat ALL teammates of mine like brothers. I keep that same relationship with my guys now.

They are called WINNING TEAMS. ;D If and WHEN we do lose, I wont take it well. I hate losing. BUT, Ill be right back on this MB to face the music. I have no control over what league we are in, but I have went and scheduled games for us. I understand the PFL teams have pretty much blackballed us. So I have stopped contacting ANY of the PFL teams for games.
I understand the PFL teams have pretty much blackballed us. So I have stopped contacting ANY of the PFL teams for games.
. Kieth The PFL never blackballed the Cobras. Like I've said the pfl has 16 teams and a full schedule. We don't need to play you or anyone else out of the plf. You have also been told as long as you continue to be a PRO team we won't play you, the NCAA is very clear on this. To say just sit those eligible for collage is crazy why don't you drop the PRO label or you just sit those getting or have been paid? No PFL teams are scared to play good teams, just look at the competition in the PFL. The PFL not playing you is all business nothing personal. I've talked with you and have always tried to help off the field, But the PDFL and PFL have different goals and will probably never meet on the field.

Keith, please understand that as a PFL owner in good standing, Chris is required to snowball you with the "official" response. I'm not an owner so I can tell you the truth. Yes, one of the first clauses agreed to early on when creating the PFL bylaws states that no PFL team can play any team that you're associated with. However, it's not that all PFL owners are haters, they actually desire to elevate you to a whole new level of martyrdom in hopes of getting you inducted to the International Martyr's Hall of Fame. Your continual "woe is us" act has not gone unappreciated. Please remember all the little people when giving your speech during your induction!

Also, I don't think anyone is waiting for you to lose since you rarely play actual games. And I truly don't think anyone cares if you win or lose because virtually none of the other teams give a rat's ass about you. Seriously, NOBODY IS IMPRESSED!! You didn't build your so-called "monster" with the same rules as everyone else so why should anyone be impressed by you? You will have gone two months between games from April 11 to June 4. Impressive, indeed!! So you'll go Panthers, Bucs, Panthers then "Cobra Family Fun Day." Wow, I could spend an hour on that corny ass bullshit alone. Maybe you could get a game against the little kids who show up for that day? ;D ;D Then you play at the Crush. Hmm...that's in Utah. You guys truly going to make that trip after they cancelled on you??? Doubtful. Then you've got the mighty Bucs again. Maybe you should just make each of these games three-game series like in baseball. Play two on Saturday and then a game Sunday?? Just a thought. Then comes the PDFL Playoffs!!! Man, I get chills thinking how exciting and intriguing those will be. How exactly will that work, anyway? Round robin with the Bucs and Panthers? Do three teams truly make a league or a playoff? I got it....have the Bucs and Panthers combine and then play your monster in the PDFL championship game.
