So I had a chance to visit the Shine's website and I didn't see anything about it saying Portland Shine so I don't know why you people are calling it that. It also states that David Littleton is the owner, not Ced. I have also read post on here how people is talking about the team is going to be trash...Now I have had the oppurtunity to play against the Littleton's and they are hands down straight ballers, and some of the best guys I have played against and i've played D-1 ball and further and it seems as if they attract ballers around them to play with them and that's why the team is so difficult to beat so I don't know how people would think this team would be trash or a pushover. Anyway, much respect to David for starting his own team and I hope they have a good year this coming season. Anybody wanna comment on this post, please feel free to do so!

Dave will do fine as a owner, the shines down fall is being in the Portland area with 5 other established teams. They would be smart to bring Cedric and Sean on because they both have a lot of football experience, and have worked together in the past. Dave is a great athlete and will be surrounded with quality players, but there is a lot to running a program Cedric and Sean could help with that.

Why don't Ced and Sean join up with the Portland Raiders and play in a real league?

I dont know why this thread was even started when everything in it has been clearified (by Ced himself) except for anyone sayin that the Shine would be pushovers or trash. I did not see any posts referring to those comments. So no need to try and stir the pot. Just sayin...

I don't think the T-bolts exist anymore.
I'm taking the Shine vs the Blitz for their championship game. Been hearing nothing but good things about what their doing and several players sounding like they might be migrating from their current Portland area teams...

I'm taking the Shine vs the Blitz as well, i've been hearing a lot of good things about the shine also as well as players coming out of the woodworks to play for these guys, I think they're going to be tough to beat. I don't think the t-bolts exist anymore neither, and the vipers isn't a portland team neither are the monarchs, they moved way out to silverdale from what I hear.

Monarchs did move yes but they still practice in the Portland area. The Vipers, I don't know if cats travel anymore across the bridge to go play and I'm curious to know what's going down with the Raiders??? Doesn't seem like to much info is being put out except for some of the major teams in the league...

I've played with the Monarch's the last couple years and they got some good folks out there, and I've talked a lot with Coach Sherman the DC this year. All the other teams around here do a shitty job trying to get player’s b/c you don't hear nothing, their websites are outdated, and you don't have a clue who the fuck is running what! I'm not waiting till the last moment to choose my team and end up dealing with a bunch of crap! For me that spells nothing but trouble in the long run so if anything I will continue to play with the Monarchs because I least I don't have to worry about them not having their shit straight. Besides at least I know what goes down there and know what to expect instead of dealing with some whole new bullshit.
Then again I might just retire!!!

Did you forget how that shit felt when the whole NAFL was dissing US before we went to Orlando with the Jags? let that league bashing shit go... Why is there a WWFA, WFL, PDFL anyway? Didn't NW teams come together wanting to work together and formed a NW league this 2011 season called the PFL? Also if you look back the NAFL at that time was huge with nearly 120 teams, it just wasn't the NAFL eastern teams and the Dallas Diesel bashing the Jags. It was some of our own local NW leaders in a former league the Jags were in at the time and jealous haters from other NW leagues. Besides who cares about the goofy Jags past. I don't. Ancient semi pro history. Time to move on in life. Thank God them nasty days are over. Life is good.
