Theres some talent in Bend.

He was asking me about info on doing NAFL as a summer team in Bend for 2011 season, But I think since the PFL start time now there will be a schedule conflict for players since both season will over lap and he going to have games in the same day in both league toward the middle of the PFL season. Should be interesting in BEND. Bend Facebook page www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001903039772

Is this the Paul Brown guy who was the owner or head coach of the former OFL Dalles Coyotes?
So now there will be two teams in little Bend? The PDFL and PFL will be having overlapping schedules.
I think these super long road trips in the PDFL will kill them unless they run into some money like what the indoor teams are doing to charter the best busses and stay in choice hotels. Besides just like in semi pro some of these guys work weekends. I hope the PDFL starts paying their QB at least.

I predict by 2012 there will be announced a "new professional" PDFL team in Yakima and Spokane made up primarily of Maverick and Wolfpack players crippling those teams. But those players will still be holding out hands which are empty and not receiving promised pay days. There is no way my guys would leave the Mavs to play for another team unless they are getting paid to do so. Also there is no way another team would work in Yakima with the Mavs and Warriors already here. I think the same can be said about Spokane to. Tri-Cities......Maybe but they wont get a field down there.

Still waiting to see how the PDFL is any different from semi-pro. So far nothing. In fact some semi pro leagues are doing a better job. The PDFL is even listed with Semi-Pro Headquarters. www.semiprofootball.org/index.htmStill waiting to see how the PDFL will compete with the IFL.

The NW should ban together with the PFL, PDFL, WWF, and The JC program. PDFL. Pro teams start your season in September and only have 3 NW pro teams. the PFL and WWF are done in July have a NW draft to fill the 3 pro teams with players not counting on collage status, and play each other along with other (PRO) teams around the country. First check into the JC and answer all our questions about the league then use it as a farm league for high school kids to move on to the PFL or collage, they also start in September. As for the PFL and WWF they start in April and use one as AAA and the other as AA teams. In the end we can help each other , make NW football a true step above the rest. JC; start September - November use 18-24 yro kids (Farm program) WWF; AA ball for those smaller teams and start up teams start in April to July PFL; AAA April - july, bigger minor league teams ( max of 16 teams) NW draft august 1st for players that want to play pro. one year contracts. Pro teams can sign 20 players to multiple years (franchise players) , the rest are drafted each year. PDFL; September - December 3 NW pro teams. Maybe later we will bring in the Arena teams. then we take over the World.

Chris, I have told you before, I love the idea. BUT, starting THEN would have us competing with the NFL, which we DONT want to do...

May not be a bad thing. Lots of people watch the Tacoma Rainers. Alot of our fans are Also Seahawk fans but can't afford the high price for a season ticket and would come watch us on Saturday and then the Hawks on TV Sunday.
