There has been lots of things put on here and other places from "anonymous sources" about what was said at PFL meetings and, in particular, about what myself and Michelle have said about the Boltz. Particularly about us "Begging other PFL teams not to play them", etc. Time to set the record straight. And I won't be doing it with anonymous sources. I'll do it with the actual audio recording from the PFL conference calls. Of the three meetings we had, there was a grand total of about 4 minutes of conversation concerning this and that is what I will post. I do not have permission to release anything else that was on there. If you want to listen to the hours of meetings, then I am more than willing to arrange a time you we can meet so you can listen on my computer. I will not release the entire files. It sounds like this Portland team is more of a problem than a solution for anything. Having refs play by college rules, all over these message boards of all kinds of drama, and I can't find one actual posting of real, classy, football players or coaches that are in it for the best interest of your league. The reason why the NFL struggled in the beginning wasn't because of this crap, it was because the issues of the AFL/NFL. After that, it was just who had the deepest pockets.
Your league seems to have been setup as a d-league, which is great, but you can't have teams like Portland causing all these issues, a Boise team folding and it appears as if Portland isn't going to play a game on the July 13 scheduled date according to an internet message board I found somewhere else. How is this a d-league with a team that won't even play another team? If I was a player on the team in Utah, and found out Portland wasn't coming, I would fly or drive up to Portland and beat the holy hell out of everyone of the Portland yellow bellied cowards!!
I have said my peace and I hope to see this game between Portland and Utah, as I will be in Salt Lake City that weekend on business.

Seriously..........! How do you figure the Portland players are "cowards". Every player on the team wants to go and have a rematch in Utah. But how do you propose they get there when all of the majority owners bailed before the season really got started and the "League" has no funding to take up the slack and help pay transportation costs. The people they should be pissed at are Matt Brown for bailing on the team and Theo Hall for being a piss poor league commissioner. I do agree that this version of the PDFL was a joke and a huge waste of players time and talent. I only hope that somehow the Portland team can stay assembled, possibly join the PFL next year as a new team and be able to display the level of talent the city of Portland has to show its football fans. ( just my 2 cents and not necessarily the views of the team )

Theo Hall and whatever his "vision" for the PDFL was, is a complete joke. I played 3 years in the PDFL and it was always the Bellingham Blitz vs the Tacoma Cobras....couldn't even field another team consistently. I'm sure if the Boltz players that went to the PDFL knew how crappy of a commissioner he was, they would have never left. I legit feel bad for all those players who left to "play better competition"....the competition level is there, but nobody wants to sign up for 2 games per season. Always have had respect for the Portland teams because they consistently gave any teams that i played on, good games and stand up people. (Monarchs just had a down season this year because everybody left to the Boltz) Cody Oakes SKC Colts QB #9

I know this probably won't be seen. But I worked for Theo Hall and the Cobras back in 2010 or 2011. He was a fraud, promised investment from outside sources and that we were going to be a "pro development league" that paid players and team employees. He even encouraged me to quit my job and help him fulltime. Luckily for me I didn't do that and stuck with my job and helped the Cobra's as a volunteer. It was so bad that our second to last game of the season, all his friends that were working for him with the Cobras were bad mouthing him behind his back. It was pretty pathetic. After I left a team meeting right before the playoffs the team "GM" who was also the team doctor/chiropractor/chief sponsor of the team called me on my way home to "let me go". That was when I pulled over and went off about how unprofessional Theo was along with this "GM". It was really funny. I was getting messages for weeks from Theo's friends working on the team about how much of a cluster F it was that I was gone. Sounds like from what i am reading here that never changed!
