Ervin Sims was a highlight reel. He was the star of the game hauling in 5 TD's. Nick did he very normal 2 TD game and was super efficient.
I must say that the Stallions brought it from whistle to whistle. They were down by 21 late in the third and their starting QB kicked out of the game, their backup came in and made some big plays. It was a hell of a game. Thanks for coming out and playing us guys. I really hope you decide to play in the PFL next year. Very classy coaches and players.

Congrats to the Monarchs and Stallions. So happy to see you put away your differences to play football. Much respect to the Stallions for traveling a great distance to play in this NW Championship game on enemy grounds. Shows that your team is tougher than thought. Next season you will be playing in the PFL so that's where you can really shine. Congrats to the Monarchs the real 2012 NW Champions. No other NW team can claim this now. Looking forward to the NW Championship game in Seattle.

Russ, their comeback may have been assisted by the drama of our egotistical head coach, I'll label him Mr dumbass. I was fine and ready to go back in the game as my team owner wanted me to but he was to pissed off after getting his ass beat for physically attacking my brother and me. There were several players on our team along with all three assistant coaches who saw what a Fucking idiot he was. I was merely talking to my brother about him being selfish and was de-escalating the situation when Mr dumbass himself felt the need to aggressively march towards us yelling,"stop. Stop. What the fuck are you two idiots doing...." Then he runs into my brother and shoved him. Mind you my brother is the one who broke his neck this season and this Mr dumbass feels the need to text my brother in the early hours of Saturday morning asking him if he could play wr today since he was gonna be short wrs. Yes my bro was on the roster all season. So no we didn't add anyone. Clearing that up now before some idiot accuses the monarchs of adding players. Lol.
So after he pushed my brother, my bro turns around and socks him in the side of his face. Me standing right there and in instant shock I grab Mr dumbass trying to prevent those two from fighting. Mind you before the game me and Mr dumbass were laughing and joking. Regardless of past turmoil. As a wrestler and marine I naturally take conflict to the ground. So when I do this Mr dumbass rips my helmet off and tries to swing on me. I was trying to stand up and get away but he pulls me back towards him as he is kicking at me and swinging like a lil girl throwing a fit. So I defend myself and get a few decent strikes to his face since that is apparently what he wants. Finally its broken up and Mr dumbass is acting like a mad man. I walk away, about 20yrds down our sideline. People are trying to hold him back as he was the one trying to continually come at me. He eventually gets close enough as I'm standing there with my hands at my side and he swings his left hand, open handed at me and hits me with his palm on my lower lips. I remember smiling and barely moving my head. Yes I'm a lil crazy and like being hit. It's the marine in me. It only fuels me. Lol and when someone hits me and does not even make me step back I tend to laugh. So acting on impulse I lob my helmet at him and someone reflects it. Then as far as I know its over.
Wild and crazy but I guess it was only a matter of time before the idiot actually blew up and attacked a player. Wrong people to attack Mr dumbass. Lol. We may be smaller than most guys but ok sure there are plenty of others that you could have attacked and gotten a better reaction out of.

They were better talent then most teams we played this year but my personal opinion is that they would never win the north in the pfl. Now with the monarchs gone they might have a shot in the south.

Russ, there is no reason to try and censor anything. It happened out in the open for the world to see. It was what is was. A huge black eye on the Monarchs organization by three people who care nothing for anyone but themselves and a total disregard for anyone else. The police report is public record and anyone who even really cares about the truth will read it. It's a forum. The situation will b addressed in the realms I needs to be.

You are completely wrong about that. There is only one person involved in that incident that only cares about himself. That is Aaron fentress. Your statement is wrong in many ways and I'll list a few.
One... My brother played knowing that one wrong hit and he was instantly paralized.
Two... We were both victims of this attack from him. He had no business even coming over to us. He was coaching the offense at that time.
Three... If I only cared about myself do you think I would have done everything you guys asked of me and make the sacrifices that I've made to help the team?
This was a sore eye on us but in no way is it a representation of the Portland monarchs. You and Michelle built a great team and one man brought it all down with his own ego issues. If me or my brother had started this at all I would completely agree with your statement but we didn't so I can't agree with you. You know that fentress has no people skills and constantly gets in players faces. We pay to play this game. You are being out of line by throwing me and my bro under the bus. Yes my brothers attitude was wrong but that's what I was talking to him about right before fentress did this. My brother had just asked me what I needed him to do for the team. I had de-escalated whatever happened when I was out there on defense. And it was over. Until the one individual who had to keep it going and cares nothing about anything or anyone except him self and his immediate family, had to continue the fiasco.
I have apologized for my own actions even though they were in self defense. That is the last thing that I would have ever wanted to happen. I have always been proud to tell people that I play for the monarchs. This by far is not the first time that fentress has given the monarchs a bad image. His constant yelling and cursing at every home game has had family members and others wanting him gone for a long time.
If that's how you honestly feel that me and my bro don't care for anything but ourselves then so be it. Can't make up your mind for you but there were many players and coaches who saw it all and would stand by me and my brother without us even asking them. How many people do you honestly think would stand by fentress' side.... Not that many would be my guess.

Also I failed to mention that friendly fire during a play knocked our only other starting db out of the game with a possible broken shoulder. So we had no starting dbs out there and we actually had two wrs in there. |

The stallions were a great group of guys and very cool and fun to play. Lots of class on their part. I would play them any day of the week. Thanks for a very fun game. My image of them was greatly proven wrong.
