Interesting scenario came up as I was looking at the upcoming playoff picture. Correct me if I’m wrong but this weekend actually plays a significant role in the 3rd and 4th seed in the south, and the top 3 spots in the North;
As of right now in the South:
#1 Monarchs
#2 Renegades
#3 Raiders
#4 Buzzards
Vipers @ Monarchs - doesn’t affect seeding.
Renegades - bye
Raiders @ Bulldogs
Regardless Raiders are in; A win gives them the 3rd seed (victory over Buzzards and better record then Outlaws) and a lost gives them 4th.
Buzzards @ Outlaws
(Cross town Rivalry game / GAME OF THE WEEK)
Winner goes to the playoffs.
Buzzards win and Raider lost gives them the 3rd seed (better win %).
Raider win sets them at 4th (Raiders victory head to head) and another 1st round match up vs. the Monarchs. (Can lightning strike twice in the playoffs?)
Same scenario for the Outlaws; Raiders lost (win %) and they can seek the Hell Mary revenge vs. the Renegades or a Raider win has them heading to face the Monarchs.
North; As of now
#1 Mavericks
#2 Bulldogs
#3 Bearcats
#4 Vikings
Mavericks @ Vikings
Vikings have the 4th seed locked up. Mavs win and they lock up #1, but a lose could cause some serious confusion. A lose and a Bulldogs win would put them in the 3rd seed (head to head vs Bearcats). A lose by the Bulldogs would cause a 3 way tie with them and the Bearcats which I have no clue how they decide.
Raiders @ Bulldogs
Bulldog win and Maverick lost puts them in the #1 seed, Mavs win gives them the #2 seed. If the Bulldogs lose they still stay at the #2 seed with a Victory over the Bearcats unless their is a 3 way tie then no clue.
Bearcats
Non league game so they'll just have to sit and wait but could end up in any of the 3 top spots
Now I could be completely off with teams not playing equal league games, The Shockers effect, and how head to head plays a role but I thought I would give it a shot, feel free to make any corrections or opinions. I want to know just like everyone else.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL THIS WEEKEND
Shit it’s better then reading Rob and Meadows go at it over dumb shit. ;D
