I said brag about winning a championship. I'll defend my team as saying we can match up with anyone and if you don't feel that way you're just not competitive. You'll see me on here stating my opinion about the PDFL and how laughable it is. You'll never see me on here saying I'm a 3x PDFL Champ.....Really? Who gives a fucc, our owners failed us and we played nobody and even if we did play somebody this rec league shit doesn't mean anything. We're just playing a game with love and if you're like me I hate losing period.

League rules get broken on a weekly basis. Take what I am about to say to heart and tell me you truley love this sport. Can you honestly sign on to a team (before the supposed roster lock) and NOT play one single regular season game and then finally suit up for the playoffs/championship game and say you 100% contributed to the team effort to get there and can you honestly take ownest to the championship trophy that might get won by the team you only played that game for? Can you as a player that loves playing this game tell you family and friend that YOU were on this championship team? Can you honestly look into your kids eyes and say, "look at the championship I helped win? If so, Then don't ever come play on a team I am involved with!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never bragged to anyone about anything that i have been apart of in Recreational football, if that's where your sense of pride comes from, then i pity you, nothing personal. but i wouldnt brag to anybody if we won a "national Championship" i would never buy my self a "championship" ring from minor league football,it baffles me why someone would shell out a few hundred for a ring that means nothing, the only reason i would play, is because thats what i do, I ball. period. Whether its a preseason game or championship or playoff. i ball. Seein as i dont know who you are, or who you coach for, me playing for you will be no concern. i could give to shits about a plastic trophy, or a ring from jostens, if you wear one of those rings, what do u say when someone asks u about it?? oh its for semi pro football, sweet bro. no one knows these leagues exist except fot the people involved and their families. I won a national championship at the junior college level,in the NJCAA for Glendale CC in arizona, since then i have not seen a GREAT team. Or anything worth bragging about to anyone. I just do this for fun. I am way too competitive in anything to just do anything for fun. I play to win. Like Herm says, "You play to win the game." Ain't the game a lot more "fun" when you win? It is for me. I played junior college ball too, and Division 2 ball. I still value my time I spent playing semi pro ball. I bought a couple of those National Chip rings from Jostens. What I see is memories when I look at them. I see awesome times with guys I went to war with. All the sacrifices made to play. All the friendships I made. I don't regret buying my National Chip rings 1 bit.

i brag within the community,on the board and so on, just to ruffle some feathers, thats just for fun. I bragged a whole bbunch that we beat you guys at home. but thats jsut cuz i know alot of the guys on the bears, its just for a little back and forth, i talk alot of shit, but thats just me havin fun, anyone who really knows im one of the most easy goin guys there is. i always congratulate teams when they get the better of my teams. Like i said its just for fun to me. Some people want to fight at the end of games when theyre losing and storm off after the game and not shake hands, its not that serious.

Yeah, I hate losing. 1 thing I regret is storming off without shaking hands after Disneys Ravens beat my Stallions in 09. Childish of me, but hey, I hate losing.

I suppose its all about each individuals personal menatility. I guess to break it down, those who fight all year long (in 6ears case 3 yrs) to make it to that ultimate goal should be proud and should brag. For those players who don't give a shit about the integrity of the game will just keep doing what they are doing and down play everything to make themselves feel better when they can't brag that they helped the "TEAM" 100% of the season to get there.
Thus the nature of this level of football. I too spout off what I was involved in at this level of football. Those who know me know that when I say I am going to do something I stick to it to the bitter end... good or bad. Trust me I hate losing and I wish it was us going up to play the Blitz. But the Core group of wolfpack players deserve to be where they are at now, playing for the league championship. Any band wagon players that jump on board now should just keep their mouths shut about even being involved in this game!!! Don't spoil it for those who fought the whole WWFA season to get there!!!

As a fan I like band wagon jumpers only with talent. It improves the fan game experience. Post season tournament should a showcase of NW All-Star talent. Don't leave talent sitting at home. Display them. Let the fans watch what the recreational health and fitness teams are all about.

Greg, you and I both know that if you guys beat us and went on to win the PFL, you'd be celebrating and bragging like there's no tomorrow. When you put in countless hours of practice, time to travel to practice and then back home, the dedication you give to a team, and to be rewarded with Championship trophy at the end, your damn right it will give someone a sense of bragging. I can say I'm damn proud of being a part of the Bears organization for the last 3 years. We had rough years, we've had good years, but to say I was a part of the building of the team the last 3 years is something no one can take away. Got to agree!! In my 2 years at Grays Harbor, we were 21-9 and built it from the ground. Captain 2 years and a starter and felt like we hade built a decent team. After leaving this year and both them and me not making playoffs, makes me miss that team I help built and want to go back and rebuild it!
