John, you were probably there. They were trying to fight us after every play. We supposed to meet at midfield afterward and have a brawl? That avoided a situation like that. Okay hater? Have you ever heard of allowing cooler heads to prevail and "being the bigger man"? If Kenny told his team not to brawl then they wouldn't. Same with Wes and the Vikings. Did Kenny shake Wes' hand or was he afraid that Wes wanted to brawl too? If not respecting poor sportsmanship makes me a hater then I'm proud to be a hater. If you mean August 5, 2000, Puget Sound Jets 48 @ Sno. Co. Vikings 0, I was at the Cavaliers - Panthers game.

exactly, you try to score as many points as possible and the other teams try to stop you. if they cant stop you then you dont help them stop you by stopping yourself.

Ease up on the 105 point nonsense. A ton of teams could have scored 100 points in a game over the years but either chose not to or were forced to play with running clock for part of, or most of a blowout. And I read the game synopsis of that 105-point game. It was much more about how crappy the opponent was than how good the Shockers were. You guys threw four passes, correct? Two for TDs. Many of your scores came on defense or special teams, a clear sign that the opposing team stunk to high heaven. And I think you know that to be true. Anyone who tells their grandchildren about that game will tell it something like this: "Son, let me tell you about the worst, piece of crap team I ever did see. They were so bad they gave up 105 points to the South Sound Shitters even though they only threw four passes. But i swear, they fumbled the ball like it was covered in Anthrax, threw interceptions left and right and whenever they punted, which only happened a few times in between turnovers, they were so bad in coverage that the Fockers waltzed into the end zone at will. It was pretty sad." Oh I know...the Shockers were garbage and not very talented. What's awesome about the 105 point game was we didn't have to try very hard to do it as you pointed out. 3 passes, 2 TD's, multiple rushing TD's, defensive and punt return TD's, running clock most of the game. Running clocks should be outlawed. Would have been interesting to see what that 61-6 game against the Ravens would have turned into! Not even the mighty 2006 Stallions could muster those point totals even though they did try on every outing! Sounds reminicent of the championship game against the Mustangs. A team that was far superior athletically (or so we were told, and as Keith always points out..."was scrappy" but not very many pure athletes I guess). What was the score of that game? hmmm......66-0 and manned by many current Colts, a couple of Cobras and some former KC Jaguars. Even had eventually NAFL MVP Anthony Montgomery...hey Keith...watch that game film if you want to see what a beaten and demoralized man truly looks like. And that was in the 2nd quarter! LOL!!! Yep...no players on the field today were on any of those teams beaten by the Shockers. There are absolutely no Blitz players who were on the Lightning that was beaten 84-7, or on the Avalanche teams beaten 48-0 or 63-0. No Monarch ever lost to the Shockers But I concede....the Shockers were horrible. We only won games because we played scrubby no-talent teams in the 2 seasons we were 24-2. We should hide our trophy since it's worse than winning the WWFA, CFL or current NWFL title...oh and how could I forget those 4, 3, and now 2 team PDFL league championships? We had no business even being team. What were we thinking??? For the record, I played against that 07 team... twice. That team was legit. They had athletes. More importantly, they played team football and didn't make mistakes. They also had the most impressive group of linebackers I have seen at this level. Watching them flow down hill in unison was impressive. Proper steps with the proper foot. Proper change of direction with foot plants and hip swivel. Proper inside shoulder pursuit. Proper o-line triangle reads from TE to TE not just a 3-man triangle. I have not seen a better core of starting linebackers as a unit in minor league football. But that is just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt.

exactly, you try to score as many points as possible and the other teams try to stop you. if they cant stop you then you dont help them stop you by stopping yourself. Agreed, but at some point you start playing everyone. If your practice players and bench players are running up the score it's not your problem. After hearing about the game in question from both coaches, if I remember correctly, it was a Vikings' player who called timeout first. For some reason that stupid decision offended Kenny and he decided to match that single player's stupidity with poor sportsmanship. One player calling timeout down 41 points points doesn't justify the Jets calling timeout for the sole purpose of running up the score with a 41 point lead.

I rushed for 18 carries for 182 yards 1 td and 1 fumble loss against the Bengals in 2000..... WHO CARES! LET IT GO... ITS NICE OUTSIDE, GO PLAY CATCH WITH YOUR KIDS!! Get off the message board!
Sarah Palin would have been President, if she ran against Ronald Reagan! WHO CARES! SQUARES!
