Vala55 I have nothing but respect for you and your truly one of the first Cobras to come on here and be humble. Look forward to seeing you in the PFL next year with which ever team you ride with.

Chris, hey fam you worded that perfectly. I too almost went to either the Colts or Shockers once I heard of the PFL and wasn't sure about another year with the Cobras then went out there and saw all you guys and figured I'd give them one more chance. As for next year if they don't make steps in the right direction there won't be a Cobras and our chemistry will be spread out on different teams in the PFL and WWFA.

Damn shame what happened to us. I really hope we can keep everybody together next season and get with a league and have a set schedule. Time will tell. Call me when you get a chance Bernard...

Spreading out all that talent will not only help the surrounding teams but the leagues competition also. Then again maybe they'll be able to keep them intake and they can make a run at a league title next season.....the plot thickens. My question is are the Cobras done for the year and their players going back to their local teams???

Keith call me, I didn't lock yr number in my phone. As for the Cobras, I'd probably say our season is over and I'm pissed about it. I was loyal and came back instead of joining a new team to play in the PFL. I need to change my name to free agent. Yeah I know some guys will go to the colts or wherever else is close but I just haven't been that guy to go and take.someone's spot halfway through a season but there still is a lot of football to be played so we will see what happens;-)

Don't know how that's going to work considering rosters for the PFL locked yesterday.

I respect not taking some dudes spot halfway through the season cobras7 or should I say freeAgent7.....just kidding. seriously though how will all this work out with the rosters locking yesterday? I think it's great more talent is coming to the league, then again I'm not on one of those teams that will be picking up these players. I will say that I would be pissed knowing that I paid to play and some guy who hasn't been with the team all year just jumps in and plays. Of course this isn't everyone and some just want to play and don't care about PT but they're are the glorified wannabe superstars who do.

Yeah my whole attitude towards that is I don't plan on goin to another team to take over someone's spot. I just would like to help out where ever they need whether it be defense, offense, whatever. But in reality I'm just coming off an injury and am still recovering, so we'll see what happens. As for the cobras, I agree with you Bernard and hope they (Cobras) make the right move. I'm sure Us players as well as coaches would stick together whether it's the Cobras or not. The majority of us as you know wanna compete against or with the NW teams in the PFL and would ride together with our coaches to make that happen. I guess you can say the same team but different name if it comes to that lol. But as of today, I'm still a cobra until we play or if we play our final game, then will continue playing elsewhere if possible. Kita or shutdowncb, I appreciate that and respect you as well and definitely hope I get to play with you all as well. And Diz, you da man and thanks Good to see what y'all doin down there, keep it up bro and looking forward to hopefully seeing you guys.

From the Cobras website:
"June 15 The Umatilla County Panters has forfited the game on June 18th in Tacoma, WA vs Tacoma Cobras. "Due to injuries and people quiting, we have no team. We forfeit the game schelduled for Jun 18th, I havebeen trying to get other players to join for this last game, but itis not working. We plan on rebuilding this fall and will be moreselective on players. I apologize for this and take the blame myself." - Tom Groesbeck This has been a hard season for the Cobras. The Cobras are undefeated this season 6-0. "
That's too bad. And it doesn't bode well for the Panthers getting into the PFL next year.
I know I've railed on the Cobras (and rightfully so), but it saddens me to see their season end like this.
