What has happened? Why is nothing being worked on? No updates on the page? Will there be an all GNFA selection? What is going on?

The GNFA rely's on teams sending in stats and nominating players for selection backed up by stats. That isn't happening. The GNFA is not receiving the needed information and without it there isn't much the GNFA can do.

How about all the records the Portland Boltz and Portland Raiders have submitted in the last 2 years that haven't been updated in any records book. I know that Aaron Fentress has send statistics to Mark Meadows. I also know that Mark has a huge issue with Aaron and doesn't tend to move quickly on these matters.
Now that brings me to a PFL league issue. Our league is struggling right now. We have weak owners and Board members. Owners and Coaches need to help the league out by providing stats. The league needs to enforce this more.
Players don't you want to know how your stats add up? I know that my 3 receivers had some of the btter numbers in the league and no one can argue that because they don't have stats to prove it.

Well, maybe a better solution is to take some of the ownership of stats and records away from team owners and coaches and put the burden on players?
I'm brainstorming here, so try and follow...
It probably would not take much to adopt something similar to the Washington State Soccer Association. Each player, regardless of league, would have to register with an entity that would host all the player's information and all the region's teams game films. Teams and players associated would be required to fund the entity, and the entity would be non-profit.
All players would be issued a photo id player's card that would be mandatory at game check-in.
It would be up to the player to watch the film and pull his own stats if the team does not track stats.
The only requirement of the home team is to have someone film the game, or based on dues, the entity could hire someone to film the game.
The entity would also enforce player suspensions, and player's would be responsible for being assigned to the team they are playing for based on league rules.
I'm not saying it would be an easy task, but I have thought that all the leagues could/should have a player repository and that if the player's team didn't track their stats, then the player should have a vessel to track their own stats and record them somewhere that is accessible.

Awful Idea. Players who already think they are the best thing around compiling their own stats? C'mon man.
A coach/owner that doesn't watch game film following a game is clearly not interested in putting the best product on the field. And those that are, can compile stats in less than 3 hours. And quicker if he had his assistant coaches, QB, MLB, etc helping him out. It's not rocket science, it's football 101. IF the coaches/owners don't care about the product/league then it's going to end up like the rest.
